Bocholt (ots) - On Monday morning at around 09.25 a.m. there was a traffic accident on the Westend street, for which an as yet unknown cyclist is now being sought. According to a witness, she had taken the cycle path from the city center and was overtaken by a “racing” and ringing cyclist. According to the witness, this cyclist wanted to push her way past two other cyclists (child and his mother). Shortly afterwards, the child and a pedestrian fell to the ground.
The seven-year-old and his mother essentially confirm the statements made by the witness. Accordingly, the boy was frightened by the behavior of the unknown cyclist and dodged to the right, so that there was a collision with a 79-year-old pedestrian on the sidewalk. The 79-year-old was taken to hospital for examination and treatment by the ambulance service. The boy suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.
The pushing cyclist continued her ride without worrying about what had happened or who had fallen.
She is described as follows: very sporty stature, medium blonde short hair. She seemed very tall and was riding a sporty bike.
