How was it and what did you play in a time without Internet, Playstation or Barbie dolls? These questions are the subject of a campaign to which the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) invites you to its Bocholt industrial museum in the last week of the holiday (Monday, August 3.8, to Friday, August 7.8). Inspired by the current special exhibition “Mythos Neue Frau”, children between eight and 13 years of age at the Bocholt textile factory experience how children between the Empire and “Golden Twenties” are busy in their free time. Some were drawn to nature, others to the dance halls. Under the motto “romp and dance! Sailor suit and Charleston dress ”the participants take a varied journey into the world of the young generation 100 years ago.
The program runs daily from 9 a.m. to 16 p.m. The participation fee for the five-day offer including material and lunch is 60 euros per child (siblings 55 euros). The textile factory will now accept registrations on Tel. 02871-216110 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org <email@example.com> contrary.
