From BIANCA MÜMKEN
There will be a new song by trucker and tenor Winni Biermann soon. Together with musician Claudia Hirschfeld and producer Ady Zehnpfennig, Biermann recorded and arranged the carnival hit "The Grim Reaper" and also participated in a video shoot for it.
“The musical instrumentalist Claudia Hirschfeld heard my voice on Youtube and Facebook and maybe I could also sing her Heimatlied, which she wrote and composed, for her city of Ense. I listened to the song and I liked it straight away. Then I said just for fun, if you would write me a nice trucker song in return, we'd come to an agreement. Shortly afterwards she sent me a demo of a wonderful trucker song with a text that got under my skin and we immediately agreed to produce and publish these two songs, ”says the Bocholter.
To go with the Ense song, Claudia's husband Andreas and her son Felix produced a funny music video (see excerpt below). The trucker song should be released in spring. The Ense song “Seht den Grimensmann von Ense”, however, will be published on December 7.12.20th, XNUMX on all popular portals at Amazon ITunes and Spotify. “There's a matching YouTube video,” says the singing trucker when asked by, Made in Bocholt.
Biermann, himself a passionate carnivalist, sees great potential in the song for a real carnival hit, even if carnival is as good as failing in the coming year.
