The police have seized eight illegally operated devices for gambling on Thursday in Bocholt. Supported by employees of the city of Bocholt, forces of the district police had previously searched the premises of an association. This happened on the basis of a search warrant by the District Court Bocholt. In addition to the gambling devices, the officials also discovered duty-unpaid or untaxed hookah tobacco. In addition, they also found violations in trade law terms: So took place in the premises and a serving of alcoholic and other beverages. The required concession was not available, nor the permission to set up the slot machines. Further violations resulted also with regard to the fire protection and building law. The employees of the Municipal Public Order Office ordered then on the spot the closure of the locality. The investigation continues.
