Bocholt (PID). The bay at the Bocholter Aasee is officially released for this year's bathing business. This is reported by Thomas Boekhorst, head of the urban youth promotion, sports and planning business unit.
On weekdays, swimming in the bay is allowed from 13 to 18 am, weekends, holidays and summer vacations from 10 to 18 pm. Swimming is only allowed during these supervised times and up to the buoy chain. The flag at the supervisory house must be set to "green". "As with any public bathing site, the quality of the water is constantly monitored during the bathing season in order to guarantee safe bathing," says Boekhorst. Toilets are available on site in a separate sanitary container. The bathing season lasts until mid-September.
