Funding missed: City pays 500.000 Euro from its own funds

According to the administration, a lack of staff in the building administration is due to the city not being able to complete applications in due time for the district development "Fildeken-Rosenberg" and thus not being able to access planned EU subsidies in the amount of 500.000 euros. The Council then decided yesterday to pay the resulting funding gap from the city treasury.

A request by the SPD to provide further funds was rejected by a majority. One should wait first. Additional money could still be provided later, said Burkhard Weber of the CDU
